Well, we made it through the week end. What an amazing experience.
God definitely was smiling. We had approximately 200 church leaders at the luncheon, and over 500 at the Rally. I am still hearing stories of how Josh not only spoke truth, but he gave a message of hope to young people and adults alike.... One story was a young teen that stated one of their parents was in prison for doing some awful things, but sitting here, listening to Josh's life story, said I realize I have hope..... I had one adult... yes adult, begin to deal with past relationship wounds, lay them down, and begin the journey of healing. I am so thankful for the many friends and leaders that embraced this event. I believe we all walked away challenged, yet energized and equipped to help transform this generation of young people and believers.
If you were not able to attend this past week end, it is my prayer that you, your family, and your church will make every effort to attend. We have invited Josh back for a seminar geared to Parents, church leaders, and teenagers....... Nov. 10th CMHS 7-10... This event is sure to open your eyes, strengthen your family, improve your relationship with your children/parent, and empower your youth group.
